Join our friends at Hi-Five sports as they help you build an epic obstacle course with items you can find around the house. Check out the video below (with detailed written instructions below the video)
You'll need:
3 paper plates
1 soccer ball
3 socks
3-4 pillows
1 laundry basket
Instructions:
The obstacle course will have 5 parts to it. The first thing to do is measure out a starting and ending zone, 10 feet apart from one another. We will use this for the entire course.
Place the following items at the starting point (Soccer ball, 3 socks and 2 paper plates). Place one paper plate at the ending point. Place 3-4 pillows equally spaced apart in the middle of the course creating a bridge from the starting to ending zones. Finally, place a laundry basket 5 feet away from the starting zone.
To start, dribble the soccer ball across and stop the ball while it is on the paper plate in the ending zone. THEN, run back to the starting line.
Next, put one foot onto each paper plate and "skate" over to the ending point. Do not lift up your feet. THEN, run back to the starting line.
This time, we jump from pillow to pillow trying to keep our balance on top of the pillows until we can jump into the ending zone. THEN, run back to the starting line.
Finally, pick up the three socks and you must throw AND MAKE them into the laundry basket before you can move on.
Lastly, once all socks are in the laundry basket. RUN as fast as you can to the ending zone. Stop the time when the contestant reaches the ending zone.
