We all know the sun is amazing, but did you know it can also be a tool in making an art project?
Sun prints use the UV rays from the sun to stain a pattern on a piece of cloth. It's easy to do and the result is a beautiful pattern. Make a pillowcase, a shirt or turn your piece of fabric into a bag. It just takes paint and a few things you can find in your backyard. The possibilities are endless.
Instructions are here.
If you have younger kids and you want to achieve the same magic with less mess, you can achieve a similar effect with construction paper. Check out this blog post from Scholastic for instructions.
